Compensair can let you know within 2 minutes if you are entitled to compensation and Airhelp is super easy because you can upload your boarding pass and flight details.

Transfer & Car Rental Services

Landing in a new country after a long flight can be stressful. There is often long Queues at airport public taxis and there can sometimes be scams and language barriers to contend with. Having your transfers sorted before you land can save you a lot of time. I have used all of the companies below and never had any problems.

  • Holiday Taxis You can choose arrival airport and vehicle size and driver is waiting. Super helpful for families and if you’re landing late at night.
  •  GetTransfer You post your route and drivers will offer you prices.
  • Welcome Pickups Drivers wait with name cards and help with luggage.
  • GetRentacar Flexible car rental worldwide.

I Top Tip: I also search the Get Your Guide App to book tickets for Airport buses
( sometimes as cheap  as 5 euros)

Tours & Experiences

Booking tours in advance prevents price increases and last-minute sell-outs.

  • GetYourGuide My most used activity booking app, It offers GLOBAL city tours, island trips, cooking classes and guided hikes.
  • Use code ALLCHECKEDIN5 for 5% off worldwide trips booked on the app.
  •  Check out my Destination guides for my most favourite visited destinations - Thailand, Spain, London, Dubai, Jamaica.
  • Klook Great for attraction tickets and transport passes, great for booking theme parks, City cards and Airport transport
  • Viator Excellent for unique tours live and local experiences, They also have a reserve now and pay later option which can help when / planning
  • Go CityThis is great for City passes and bucket list attractions.

Esim’s

eSIMsare becomming more popular. They are simple to use once you’ve got used to it and genuinely makes travel smoother. If you install before your flight, You will be connected the moment you land meaning no searching for free WiFi.

  • Airalo Global eSIM provider that covers over 200 countries.
  • Saily Easy to use, simple set up and non complicated plans
  • Drimsim Works across multiple countries without swapping plans good for Longer trips

Medical emergencies abroad can cost thousands. Do not skip this part and always read your policy so that you know what you are covered for.
  • SafetyWing Flexible travel and health insurance designed for modern travellers, also has a rolling monthly payment plan.
